Han vokser opp i India på 90-tallet, hvor kaste og religion avgjør alt fra hva du kan bli til hvem du kan bli sammen med. Det får Ashish, guttegjengen hans og Shrushti fra klassen merke. Midt oppi de enorme endringene i India på denne tida, skal Ashish prøve å finne ut hvem han er. AUTOBIO-PAMPHLET er basert på regissørens eget liv, og viser det indiske samfunnet gjennom barns blikk, bøttevis med humor og Bollywood-inspirasjon.
